The Data Analyst and Developer has responsibilities in four main areas:
Data Analyst responsibilities - Work with various ICBA stakeholders to understand and document data analytics and business intelligence requirements.
Technical responsibilities – Work with data team to assess, design, and implement data architecture and data solutions.
Visual Report Developer responsibilities – Develop and deploy in-depth visual analysis and dashboards for staff using ICBA’s analytical tools and trending information to support ICBA’s operational and strategic efforts.
Leadership responsibilities – Train ICBA staff to be self-sufficient in creating actionable visual analytics. Grow ICBA’s data strategy to be extremely efficient and effective. Recommend new technology initiatives and resources (software, vendors, budget etc.) to potentially create new products and services for ICBA members.
Duties and Responsibilities
Assist in all activities of ICBA’s data visualization and business intelligence initiatives under the Data Strategy.
Working with various ICBA departments, understand, document, and assist in planning and implementing the enterprise-wide data analysis and business intelligence needs.
Assist in implementing and maintaining ICBA’s data warehouse in the cloud securely; assist in creating and maintaining ICBA global data dictionary, diagrams etc.; Identify and resolve data issues related to integrity, process, and performance.
Create visually pleasing operational and departmental visual dashboards (automated monthly) for organization-wide use; create visual comparative analysis presentations and trending reports for internal and external audiences.
Deliver timely research, analysis and statistics as requested by staff and ICBA members.
Plan and implement automated, low maintenance, scalable solutions.
Support data team in the design, collection and analysis stages of ICBA survey research.
Assist and train ICBA departments in creating and using dynamic dashboards.
Recommend new technologies to effectively grow ICBA’s data initiatives.
Identify and assist data team in seeking possible opportunities for additional data product creation and monetization.
High proficiency and experience in Microsoft PowerBI required. Experience with other visual data analytical tools preferred.
High proficiency in data analysis required.
Experience creating visual data analytics solution required.
Excellent understanding of system architectures and impact on data availability and security.
High proficiency in working with data in Microsoft Azure Cloud required.
High proficiency in SQL Server database administration and data integration with data from various sources required.
Understanding of data storage and implications to operational processes and performance.
Understanding of integration between AMS, FMS, Datawarehouse and Azure Cloud.
Experience with MS Office 365 tools, MS cloud architecture, and database security required.
Superior analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities required.
Highly proficient in SQL querying and an understanding of Transact-SQL (T-SQL).
Solid understanding of OLTP, OLAP and ETL processes and technologies.
Proficient in MS Business Intelligence stack and the Microsoft roadmap.
Ability to implement effective solutions through Dev/Ops Processes, SDLC.
Capable of implementing artificial intelligence technologies, forecasting and predictive analytical models, and other technologies for visual data analysis and business intelligence
Familiarity with banking industry, financial policy and financial analysis helpful.
Must have strong time management and organizational skills and the ability to handle competing priorities.
Must be a strong team player and possess the ability to serve in a leadership role as appropriate.
Must be deadline-sensitive and respond to requests in a timely manner.
Able to set and manage priorities judiciously.

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s degree in information systems or equivalent combination of education and experience required; visual data analytical tool certification preferred.
5+ years of related experience; experience working with nonprofit associations preferred.
